Is Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach Good For Families With Young Kids?
Yes. Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach is one of my favorite family hotels in Phuket. The family rooms have a separate kids’ bedroom with a bunk bed and toys, the kids’ club accepts children from four years, and there are both a big family pool and a quiet adults-only pool.
Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach Review for Families (2026)
We had our first stay at the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach in August 2026 with our girls, who were 3 and 7 at the time. It was not planned at all. We had some awful issues at the Hyatt Kamala, got our money back, and moved to the Pullman for the last two nights of our trip. Best decision ever.
This non-sponsored review is based on that first stay, but we came back two more times, and I updated the article in 2026. So all details are fresh and helpful. Let’s dive in.

First Impressions of the Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach
As mentioned earlier, we fled from Hyatt Kamala. It was late afternoon, and before booking the Pullman Phuket, I called ahead to let them know we were coming. So, they already knew we were “complaint customers” and probably handled us extra carefully.
Check-in was smooth as butter. We were served right away, and the staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Our luggage was whisked away immediately, and we were handed welcome drinks. A mini-bus took us to our room.
Once inside, we were greeted by a surprise mini candy station for the kids. So thoughtful!
What Are the Family Rooms Like at Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach?

Layout, Space, and Facilities
We booked a family room because, let’s face it, we all sleep better in two separate bedrooms. The Family Room at Pullman Phuket Resort was spot on for us. It came with a kids’ room featuring a bunk bed, a PlayStation 4 (how crazy is that?!), some toys, and—our girls’ highlight—two giant plush toys.
There was also a dressing room, a big private bathroom, and a spacious master bedroom with a sitting area. The large private balcony even had space to dry wet swimwear.
Cleanliness? Impeccable! But for a room costing 550 USD a night, that’s the least I expect. Housekeeping came twice daily.
Our room overlooked the adults-only pool area, which felt strange at first. But the next morning, I understood why (more on that later).
Dining at Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach
Breakfast at Elements
We decided to spend the next couple of days without leaving the hotel, so we booked breakfast. The restaurant “Elements” has indoor seating and covered outdoor areas with a lovely view of the main pool and the sea. Gorgeous!
The buffet? Amazing! We’re vegetarians (no meat or fish, but we do eat eggs) and prefer plant-based milk. So, our expectations for hotel buffets are usually low. But Pullman’s buffet didn’t disappoint. There was an egg bar, an Indian pancake station, a juice bar with freshly squeezed options, and more.
My only downside? No proper Matcha Latte. But honestly, we’re used to that by now.
Our highlight: Our youngest turned 3 while we were there. I informed the hotel the day before, and they brought a fabulous chocolate cake with a personalized message to our table—free of charge! Later, the staff decorated our room with balloons and flowers. Our birthday girl was thrilled.
Oh, and kids under 8 eat breakfast for free!

Lunch Options for Vegetarians and Families
For lunch, we stuck to “Elements.” The menu is a bit limited for vegetarians, but we managed to find a delicious falafel bowl and veggie Pad Thai. The kids’ menu has plenty of options, and they enjoyed vegetable fried rice with ice cream for dessert.
High chairs are available, but our 3-year-old was a bit too big for them. We’re used to this in Thailand. They’re simply not prepared for northern-Europe-sized toddlers.
Dinner at Vero Restaurant
We dined at the Italian restaurant “Vero.” It’s located at the top of the hotel, with indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. The place is very meat-centric—guests can even choose their knives for cutting steak.
But there were also a couple of vegetarian options. The pizza and pasta were excellent. Also, the restaurant has a cozy wine bar with an impressive wine selection.
Our family highlight: Seconds after we sat down, the waiter brought coloring materials for the kids. This kind of service is gold! It keeps the kids happy, and parents relaxed while waiting for the food.

Pools at Pullman Phuket for Kids and Adults
Main Family Pool
The main pool is massive, with varying depths and water fountains for the kids to splash around in. There is always staff keeping an eye on safety. They have plenty of lounge chairs, and in the afternoon, the staff comes around hanging towels on umbrellas to make sure everyone stays in the shade.
Adults-Only Infinity Pool
The adults-only infinity pool is my favorite. It is super peaceful, with the same gorgeous panoramic views. You can chill on the lounge chairs or float in the pool on a bean bag. And by pressing a button, you can call a staff member right to your chair.

Naithon Beach Access from Pullman Phuket
We already knew Naithon Beach from a family photoshoot during a previous trip, and we instantly fell in love with its untouched beauty. No sunbeds or umbrellas, just lots of soft sand and stunning sunsets. The waves can get a bit high, though, so it’s always a good idea to keep an adult nearby to watch the kids.
It’s fantastic that the hotel has direct access to Naithon Beach. There’s a staircase leading straight from the hotel to the beach. Just don’t forget your room key, or you won’t be able to get back in! There’s also a station to clean your feet before heading back to the hotel grounds.

Does Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach Have a Kids' Club?
Now, here’s why it makes perfect sense for the family rooms to be located next to the adults-only pool: the gym (which is fantastic) is right next door, and the huge, colorful Kids’ Club is just below it.
Supervision, Play Areas and Activities
As with most hotels, kids 4 and up can stay there on their own. The Kids’ Club is lovingly designed, with big indoor and outdoor play areas. When dropping off the girls, we had to specify whether we were okay with them watching TV or not. We opted out and signed them up for fun activities instead. One day, they decorated gel candles, and on another, they painted soap figures.
The nannies speak good English and are so sweet with the kids. We were able to hit the gym and relax at the adults-only pool, knowing our girls were having a blast.
That said, we’ve stayed at other hotels, like the Hyatt, that offer even more activities. For example, the kids at Hyatt baked pizzas, went on mudflat walks with a marine biologist, and had family movie nights.
Overall Family Experience at Pullman Phuket
We felt completely at home and welcomed as a family.
What I love most is that Pullman Naithon Beach isn’t a full-blown kids’ hotel. Every time we stayed there, about 25% of the guests were families, which was perfect. I don’t mind that there are no water slides, as there are plenty of other things to do.
The other guests were pleasant too (and I’m super picky about this, easily annoyed by loud families with no sense of consideration). Another big plus!

Prices and Value at Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach
The Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach is a high-end luxury hotel, a flagship Pullman resort, and the prices reflect that. We paid about 550 USD per night, including tax, for our Family Deluxe Room with breakfast in August (mini-high season).
Sure, it’s not cheap. But it’s totally worth it for what you get. You could easily spend several days without ever leaving the hotel grounds. You have everything you need.
Tips for Families Visiting Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach
For Thailand in general, I always recommend coming during the shoulder season, when high season transitions into low season. The weather is usually still great, but the tourist crowds drop off.
My favorite travel times are March–April and July–September. October to early December is rainy season (though it varies between the west and east coasts), and it can get very wet and uncomfortable. From December to February, it’s high season, and places like Phuket are packed to the brim.

Which Area of Phuket is Best for Families?
For families who want a quieter, more nature-focused stay with easy airport access, northwest Phuket (Naithon, Mai Khao, Nai Yang) is hard to beat. It is far less crowded than the west-coast hotspots like Patong, Kamala, or Karon, and the beaches are cleaner and calmer. Pullman Arcadia Naithon Beach sits right in this sweet spot: 12 minutes from the airport, next to a national park, with a beach you mostly have to yourself. If you need nightlife, shopping malls, or constant activities outside the hotel, central or south Phuket suits you better. But for a proper family resort holiday? Northwest Phuket wins.
Key Takeaways
- The Family Rooms offer a separate kids’ bedroom and plenty of space for a family of four.
- The resort has a large family pool, an adults-only pool, and direct access to Naithon Beach.
- The kids’ club accepts children from 4 years and has indoor and outdoor play areas.
- Breakfast has strong vegetarian options compared to many Phuket resorts.
- Prices are high, especially in August and December, but consistent with other luxury hotels in this area.
Final Verdict on Our Stay as a Family at Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach
As you can probably guess, Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach gets 5 out of 5 stars from our family. Since our first stay, we have already returned two more times. The family rooms are hard to beat, and the balance of being kid-friendly without feeling like a noisy, busy kids’ hotel is just fantastic.
The only things Pullman Phuket could work on: a better Matcha Latte, more veggie options on the lunch and dinner menus, and maybe a few more adventurous kids’ activities. But other than that, this hotel ticks all the boxes, and you should book your family vacation there now!
