This is the coolest indoor playground on the island and my daughter’s absolute favorite. Super modern, really safe, and packed with creative zones. There are board games, magnetic tiles, LEGO, puzzles, a selection of books, and costumes.
Kids can also enjoy sensory play areas where they color water, play with magnetic sand, playdough, and try loads of other fun activities they usually don’t get to do at home (or anywhere else).
The best part: It’s always supervised by warm and attentive staff who love engaging with the little ones. It’s close to Flo Cafe, so you can take a little coffee break while your kids play.
We usually let our girls play here for several hours on the weekend. Kidomo is clean, friendly, and perfect for ages 3 to 10.
2. Fun House Samui

Location: Fun House
This place is a lifesaver on rainy and really hot days. A big indoor space with ball pits, slides, soft play structures, and even a fenced trampoline. There’s a toddler area, too, so your little one won’t get squashed by bigger kids. Our girls LOVE it here.
I’ve got to be honest – I don’t love hanging out there while waiting. Sure, it’s clean and air-conditioned, but it’s not exactly the kind of cozy Western cafe where I’d want to chill with my laptop.
But hey, that’s totally fine.
There are always at least two motivated Thai staff around, keeping an eye on the kids and playing with them. So you can drop them off for an hour or two (or even three) and feel totally at ease. If anything comes up, they’ll give you a call right away.
3. Le Blocks (Chaweng & Lamai Branches)

Ideal for ages 5 to 13, I’d say, but younger kids can join if a parent helps. Add-on activities like foam clay and bead kits cost extra.
Le Blocks is located in Big C (Chaweng) and Tesco Lotus (Lamai), so you can drop your child off and go grocery shopping. At least that’s how I do it.

UniKids is a lovely indoor spot for younger kids. It’s bright, clean, and filled with creative play corners and beautiful wooden Montessori toys. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and well-maintained.
I also love the small snack station with grapes, watermelon, and water.
It’s located on the grounds of Big C in Chaweng, which makes it super convenient. I usually sneak off to Starbucks or do a quick grocery run while the girls play.
The staff keep an eye on things, but don’t really engage with the kids, at least not during our two visits. Lila and Ruby were a bit disappointed that no one played with them.
Still, it’s a reliable and easy spot to escape the heat or hide from the rain for a while.
5. Clever Kids Samui

The space is especially good for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years. There’s also a small upstairs area parents can use as a co-working space for 100 THB/hour, as well as a mini outdoor area.
6. Rick Tew’s NinjaGym

Location: Big C Chaweng
If your kid has energy to burn, NinjaGym is your place to go. It’s a huge indoor obstacle course with climbing walls, ropes, trampolines, tunnels, and all kinds of fun challenges. It’s run by Rick Tew, a martial arts coach. But don’t worry—it’s all super friendly and playful. No strict drills, just guided sessions where kids jump, balance, swing, and crawl their way through the gym like little ninjas.
My girls were hooked from the first visit. After 50 minutes, they came out sweaty, proud, and holding ninja stickers like trophies.
Parents can’t go on the mats (which honestly makes it better). I get to sit down, catch up on emails, and sip my coffee while they train. There’s even a little side area with board games and video games.

7. Cosmos

Cosmos is a creative community space with a small indoor play area with books, and Montessori-style toys. They also run movement classes for little ones on the upper floors. A sweet Thai nanny is there at all times. You give her your number and can leave the playroom for a bit.
However, the playroom is actually pretty small. So when I go there with the girls, we usually stay just for an hour or so. But it’s a nice change from the other playgrounds and the opening hours are unbeatable.
8. Candy Land at Central Festival

Right in the middle of Chaweng’s big shopping mall, this playground is a total lifesaver. It’s fully indoors (although there’s no AC), clean, and packed with fun: slides, tunnels, and climbing stuff.
We’ve used this one many times when we went shopping and the kids lost patience (or we did). You can grab a coffee or do a bit of shopping while the kids play. The nannies take them to the kids toilet nearby if they need to pee. And they call you if your child has had enough.
9. Maya Kids Club (Maya Resort Samui)

You can stay and relax in the seating area with a coffee from the neighbouring bakery (they’d even deliver it to you), or drop your child off in safe hands.
Lite also offers regular workshops and flexible playgroups, ideal for families who stay longer but don’t want to commit to a full-time kindergarten.
Socks are required (available for 40 THB if you forget). A great place for kids to have fun, especially on rainy days or when it’s too hot outside.
