Final Thoughts on the School Landscape in Koh Phangan
Personally, I have to say that I am overall very impressed with the school landscape here in Koh Phangan. As a non-Thai national, it is very difficult to get a place in a local government school. Therefore, for the majority of foreign families, private international schools are the only option.
Most children arrive on the island with different language skills, many with hardly any knowledge of English. This requires the schools here to be adaptable and effective in language instruction.
