It was a Sunday at the end of May. I took my girls to Eva Cafe & Restaurant for the first time in three years.
We got there right at 10 AM, when it opened. A friendly woman greeted us and showed us to a table in the air-conditioned indoor room. My eldest immediately asked for the kids’ playroom — she remembered it from before.
Unfortunately, it is under renovation right now. But the staff was sweet. They brought over a box of kids’ toys, play-dough, puzzles, a few small things to keep little hands busy. My girls were happy and set for the next 30 minutes.
